

The Excavator is one of the most overpowered weapons in entire Project Brutality, it has no problems with eradicating hordes of strong enemies. Unfortunately it will also highly increase the probability to spawn the upgrades, so you can find a lot of upgrades for your weapons quite early. You might notice that the monster spawns are quite random, I switched from Tiered Progression to Chaotic Random. Your Heavy Plasma Rifle is extremely useful when dual wielded, and its Flamethrower ability is devastating. The M2 Plasma Rifle is quite buggy when upgraded with Tesla, so it's better not to use this upgrade at the moment. The higher tier monsters like Barons and its mutations, are really durable so do not think and bring your M2 Plasma Rifle. Desert Eagle deals a lot of damage to the medium hellspawn (3-4 shots against Cacos) while it's quite mediocre against smaller enemies.


Basically using the Desert Eagle without dual wielding is quite difficult, it shows the full potential with akimbo playstyle. Once picked up, it replaces it permanently - it has twice the ammo capacity but it eats pistol bullets really fast. The Desert Eagle is fully functional in this release - you can dual wield, aim and shoot, it's an upgrade for the Revolver. In case of the Shotgun with magazine upgrade crash, head to the hotfix-reporting-and-requests room of Project Brutality discord and get the pk3 hotfix. Keep in mind when playing this Project Brutality revision from GitHub, everything is Work In Progress so bugs are EXPECTED. Also, when you look at the Project Brutality Trello account, there are so many ideas to implement that it might take some time. Project Brutality will probably be released after the DOOM:Eternal so it might take some time. 50 pistol and we are going to visit Extermination Day with it. Project Brutality 3.0 is an upcoming version of one of the best available mods for the classic Doom.
